OBITUARY
MR. P. L. GULLY. 'The death occurred in Masterton this morning of Mr. P. L. Gully, a wellknown and highly respected resident, after a short illness. The late Mr. Gully who was born in Nelson in 1875 resided for a short ]H*ri<;d in Wanganui, coining to Masterton in 1905. where he had lived over since. After being in the emjiloy of Levin and Co., as an accountant for many years, he took up aecountancy on his own account in 1922, in which he had continued until the time of his death. Mr. Gully was a foundation member of the Mastodon Savage Club, taking a keen interest in the affairs of the club. He carried out the work of chief scribe with distinction for some 20 years, recently being made a lite member. Ho was also a member of the local Ma--t>nic fraternity, and for some years a member < f the Nelson Artillery Volunteers Mr. Gully was of a genial disposition and the sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to the relaMr. Gully, who was predeceased by his wife four years ago. and by a daughter in 1931, is survived by four x'.in: Me; Enc (Gisborne), Austin iHuntli-y.i. The funeral will lake place tomorrow, leaving the residence, after a service which will be held at 3 pin. for the Msjstvrion Cemetery
