Quite a number of people were right on the mark or nearly so in the weight judging competitions held at the Masterton Show,
The correct weight of the bullock was TlOlbs. The following guessed the correct weight and divide the prize money:—W. G. Rutherford, c/o Gear Co., Masterton; G. Harvey, Rangituman; Mrs A. D. McKay, Gladstone; D. McGillivray, Sulphur Wells;- and John M. Jury, Ponatahi. The sheep weights were:—Ewe. 78 lbs.; hogget. 45<'.ibs,; wether, 631b5.; total, 186Jlbs.
Miss Sheila Bennett. Mauriceville, wins first prize with 186Jlbs., and the following are equal for second place with 186 or 1871b5.: W. L. Willoughby, Mariinborough; J. G. Wingate. Opaki; H.
