It commences at the Cosy tomorrow. Jack Holt is starred in the new film as a daring G-Man who battles single-handed with a crew of vil- > lains. which include Harry Carey. Eduardo Ciannelli and Sig Rumann. The story begins on board a palatial gambling ship which Holl is keeping under surveillance because it seems to be the source of a flood of counterfeit ■ bills. Eduardo Ciannelli. the proprie-| tor. surprises one of Holt's assistants) at the safe, and murders the operative. I The floating casino then puts to seal in an attempt to escape from justice. Before he can take command, however, the tables are turned, and the gangster factions join together in an effort to do away with the operative. Holt manages to convert his defeat into a triumph in thrilling fashion. For many decades the United States Navy won recruits with the slogan: "Join the Navy and See the World." but now Warner Bros might well paraphase that slogan and advertise: "See ■Espionage Agent’ and you'll see the world." "Espionage Agent” the associate feature, is the timely Warner Bros, film with Joel McCrea. Brenda Marshall and Jeffrey Lynn, and it has such an international background that when Carl Weyl. the art director who was to design the sets read the script, he told Lloyd Bacon, the director, that "Never have we had a script showing so many different cities and localities in so many different, nations.
