Masterton. has returned from a visit to the South Island. Mrs B. D. Holmwood. Lincoln Road. Masterton. who has been visiting Paraparaumu Beach, has returned to Masterton. The New Zealand singer, Mr Oscar Natzke. was married quietly in Auckland to Miss Winifred Clements, the Auckland soprano. The resignation of Miss E. Wickens from the oflice stall of the Masterton Borough Council, after 17 years service, was accepted with regret at a meeting of the Council last night. It was decided to send a letter to Miss Wickens. appreciating the faithful service she had given the borough.
