GIRL GLIDES

MASTERTON ASSOCIATION. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Masterton Girl Guides' Association was held in the Lecture Room. Municipal Buildings, there being present: Mesdames McKenzie (in lhe chair). Hodder. Parr. Heath. Prentice. Andrews, C. H. McKenzie and H. M. A. Major. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Larson. Forsyth, Radcliffe, Hunter, Traynor, and Corskie. Misses Radcliffe and Allen wore present by invitation. The committee accepted with regret the resignation of Mrs A. F. Stewart and passed a vote of thanks to her for all the work she had done over several years for the Girl Guides' Association. Miss Radcliffe proposed and Mrs McKenzie seconded that the Girl Guides' Association assist the Queen Carnival funds in any way possible, including the donation of £l. The motion was carried. Miss Allen proposed and Mrs Heath seconded that the committee assist the Nursing Queen. It was decided on the motion of Mrs Prentice seconded by Mrs McKenzie that Miss Allen be thanked for the most efficient manner in which she had conducted the camp. Arrangementts were made in connection with the swimming sports.
