FIGHT FOR KEREN

Though subjected throughout the day and night to aerial and artillery bombardment, the Italians at Keren i Eritrea i are not only defending the town with unwonted vigour but also are counter-attacking with some violence. flinging in upward of 25 0(H) men. The toughest resistance lies to the west of Keren. We last night launched a terrific attack nt this point, with devastating artillery support. Yesterday’s attack was the twentieth against Keren and also the most concentrated.
