Ihey've lost their elasticity. You have to suspender them up tighter, and then, at the first sudden strain, snap goes a ladder! A quick Lux dip after each wearing restores elasticity. Threads can take strain again—and stockings fit smoother, too. Save foot holes this way Don't leave stockings overnight with perspiration still in them. Even in cool weather, perspiration acids are ab sorbed by your stockings. Left in, they II rot the threads—shoe pressure will soon cause foot holes.
