TORPEDO GETS HOME
AIR ATTACK ON NAZI DESTROYERS MADE BY COASTAL COMMAND PLANES. OFF COAST OF NORWAY. (British Official Wifeless.) (Received This Day. 10.40 a.m.) RUGBY. February 10. An Air Ministry communique states: “In the course of reconnaissance and patrol operations by aircraft of the Coastal Command yesterday, an attack was made with torpedoes on enemy destroyers off the Norwegian coast. One enemy vessel was hit amidships."
