WOODVILLE SHOW

RECORD ATTENDANCE PROFITS TO PATRIOTIC FUND. THE CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WOODVILLE. This Day. Held in fine weather on the Woodville racecourse on Saturday, the fortyninth annual show conducted by the Woodville Agricultural and Pastoral Association once again gave evidence of the interest taken in the festival by farmers of the district and neighbouring localities, and. though there was a slight decline in the number of horse entries, sheep and cattle were as well represented as under normal conditions. In common with other agricultural associations, the executive committee of the Woodville association some time ago decided that all profits from today's show should go toward patriotic funds; as the attendance was a record a handsome contribution should result.
