“REASONABLY EXPECTED” TO MEET CRISIS STATEMENT BY MR. STIMSON. SUPPLY OF AMERICAN PLANES. (Ry Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright! WASHINGTON. February 7. The Secretary for War (Mr. H. Stimson), in a letter to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, states that the sale of American aircraft to Britain has assisted in building up the R.A.F., which “is now reasonably expected successfully to meet the crisis of this year.”
