RIFLE SHOOTING
MASTERTON-OPAKI CLUB GOOD PERFORMANCE BY W. N. KUMMER. G. VENNELL WINS TROPHY.
The fifth trophy shoot was held by the Masterton-Opaki Riflle Club (in the Failview range on Saturday under fairly difficult conditions, the changing wind trapping most of the shooters. The top scorer off the rille was was Rifleman W. N. Kummer and his possible at 300 yards was air excellent performance. Rifleman G. Vennell won
will be held on February 22 over the 800 and 900 yards ranges The championship will be held on March 9.
