MARTINBOROUGH SALE Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ldt., report as follows on their Marlinborough Sale held yesterday:—A good yarding of all classes of sheep came forward and met with a spirited sale from a good attendance of local farmers. Bs. Bd.; small shorn wether lambs. 7s. 6d.. 7s. 9d.. to Bs. 4d.

Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd. report: A small yarding of lambs came forward m Marlinborough sale yesterday and was offered to a fair attendance. Competition was keen throughout and a total clearance was effected. The following are some of the realisations: —Medium woolly ewe lambs to 17s 8d: small woolly ewe lambs to 12s 9d; small woolly wether lambs to 12s 3d; cull lambs to 7s EKETAHUNA SALE Messrs Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., report as follows on their Eketahuna Sale held yesterday:—We yarded a full yarding of sheep, but the attendance was small, very few outside buyers being present. At the outset competition was not good with the result that the first one or two pens did not realise vendors’ expectations. However, from then on the market improved, competition becoming keener, and the prices realised were well up to those of late rates, and any passed-in pens were quickly sold long before the end of the day. A total clearance was effected, and the following prices will indicate values —Forward condition woolly wether lambs. 17s. Gd.; medium b.f. rape lambs. 14s. 4d. to 15s. 3d.; shorn wether lambs. 145.: medium ditto. 125.. 12s. 9d.. to 13s. 2d.; small ditto. Bs. to 95.; small ewe lambs. 125.. 135.. to bls. 2d.; fat and forward wethers, twotooths. 20s 2d; medium four-tooth wethers. 195..: low condition mixed-age owes Ils. 9d.: cull owes. 6s. Bd.
