THESPIAN TEETH
CUT ON FAILURE. Like many an aspiring future star. John Justin, who plays Prince Ahmad in “The Thief of Bagdad." cut his thespian teeth on failure.
There is no trace of theatrical talent in the Justin family, but John became interested in acting at school and joined the Plymouth Repertory Company when 10. After a few months at Plymouth lie was taken away by his father and sent to a farm in Norfolk, but John later joined the Liverpool Repertory Company.
When he was 19 he decided to try his luck in London. He almost .starved as a film extra and in walking-on
