The death occurred at midnight last night of Lord Lloyd, Secretary of State for the Colonies and Leader of the House of Lrn-ds since the appointment of Lord Halifax as Ambassador to the United States. Lord Lloyd was 61 years of age. He had been confined to his tied for the past three weeks with a severe chill. He appeared to be recovering, but recently had a relapse.
