ROADMAN’S DEATH
CORONER RETURNS VERDICT OF SUICIDE. EVIDENCE AT INQUEST A verdict of death by suicide was returned by the District Coroner. Mr E. G. Eton, at an inquest held this morning concerning the death of John Hogan, a roadman employed b.v the Masterton County Council at Blairlngie. Deceased was found dead in his whare at Blairlogie yesterday morning. Evidence of identification was given by a brother. Denis Joseph Hogan, who also testified as to illnesses suffered by dece«sed in the past few years Ivan Andrew Grey, mailman, stated that he had called at Hogan’s whare. yesterday morning and found the fi<llowmg note m the meat safe: ’'Please ring County Office.
