CASUALTY LIST
N.Z. FORCES OVERSEAS. DEATHS FROM SICKNESS. The following casualties to the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force have been reported;— Private John Henry Powell Calson, died of sickness. January 16. 1941. Mother: Mrs J. P Calson, 19 Boston Terrace, Wellington. Sergeant Charles John Herbert, died of sickness. February, 1911. Son: Charles Herbert. 5 Rotherham Street. Riccarton. Christchurch. The following air casualty was also announced: — Flying Officer Samuel James Millen, DEC. now reported missing bcliev<l killed. Father: Mr. S. G. A. Millen. 18 Peake- IL ad. St Johns Hill. Wanganui Pilot Oificer Millen, later promoted Fly.ng Oifiecr. was previously reported missing in June of last year. He was later r< ported safe and re-■.arru-.i to duly. He was then awarded the Distingim-hed Flying Cross, and m December was agimi reported missing.
