The success I of the gathering was in no small way ■ due to the excellent horsemanship . shown in the numerous events. The i return from the competitions including I the hoop-la was £7O. The dance in the evening which was largely attended was most enjoyable. The following are the winners of the competitions drawn to date: —Horse. Miss P. Moore, “Epariama;" bridle, Mr J. Glover, "Annedale;” sheep (correct weight 14 libs..', Mr J. Andrew, "lea;" cake. N'c. 333. Miss Marion Douglas; cushion, Mrs O'Hara. Particularly good work was done by the joint secretaries.
