Mrs L. Meredith. Mangapakeha. has been spending a few days in Wellington.
Mrs Gribben, who has bgen staying with Mrs J. Broad. Fernyhurst. is returning to Auckland today.
Miss K. Smith. Martinborough, is visiting Marlborough and Nelson districts.
Miss Jean Douglas. Pownall Street. Masterton. was a visitor to Wellington this week.
Mrs Captain McKenzie, of Wellington, who will be the speaker tomorrow morning at the Salvation Army barracks, Masterton, is a former resident of Masterton.
The death has occurred in Napier oi Sister M. O. Galbraith, the eldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs W. Galbraith. Woodville, and a well known nurse.
