Francos Banner pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court today to three charges of misleading officials with the object of obtaining social security benefits. Evidence was given that, accused received a sickness benefit of £1 a week. When the doctor was too busy to see ner tn renew the certificates, she signed them. Accused was convicted and placed on probation for three years.' She was also ordered to repay £2O 4s at the rate of 10s weekly.
