HOME GUARD TRAINING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance at the Home Guard parade held on Wednes- ’ day evening. Excellent work is being carried out in connection with, the, ’ training of lhe members. Severe Gale. A gale of considerable fury raged m ' this "'district on Tuesday. Residents state that it was the worst experienced here for years. As yet no damage of I any consequence has been reported but fruit trees in various parts of the j district were stripped of their fruit. ' At Lake Ferry the gale was most se- ' verc and waves in the lake rose to considerable heights. I Personal Items. Mrs. Hall is staying with her sister ! Mrs. A. G. Burling. i Mr. R.
