ANOTHER BRITISH RAID ON WILHELMSHAVEN

SOME DAYLIGHT ATTACKS ON BRITAIN.

ENEMY BOMBER SHOT DOWN IN FLAMES. An Air Ministry communique states that on Wednesday night a small force of British bombers attacked Wilhelmshaven and other targets in North-West Germany. The raid was the 42nd made on Wilhelmshaven. All our aircraft returned safely. Yesterday single German aircraft dropped bombs in the London area, in south and south-east England and in East Anglia. Houses and shops were damaged, but the number of casualties so far reported is small. One German bomber was caught by British fighters over Essex and shot down in flames. An agency message reports an attack by enemy fighters on the balloon barrage at Dover. A number of balloons were shot down, but the raiders were driven oil’ by heavy gunfire, POOR RESULTS LATEST NAZI FIRE RAID ON LONDON. DAMAGE NOT EXTENSIVE LONDON. January 3(1 Last night the Germans attempted another fire raid on London. They scattered incendiary bombs m one London district, but with poor results. The raid was over before midnight.
