A Masterton visitor to Wairoa is Mrs. Welsh. Mrs. R. A. Grant, of Masterton. is a visitor to Hastings. Mrs W. Greaves. Fahiatua, has as her guest Miss E. Flavin, of Auckland. Mrs J. Nilsson, of Whakarawa. is the guest of her sister. Mrs M. Phillips. Masterton Road. Pahiatua. Miss L. Rickards, who has been visiting her parents. Mr. and Mrs. B. Rickards. Maslerton. has returned to Taihape. Sister May. formerly matron of the Methodist Children's Home at Masterton. is at present on a visit, to Masterton. For some years Sister May has resided in Australia. Advice has been received in Sydney that Lady Charlemont, who visited Australia and New Zealand in 1939. was killed with eight others recently when a bomb hit a tube train in which she was travelling in London. Lady Charlemont was second in command of an R.A.F. Comforts Depot, and was also working at the Middlesex Hospital.
