Donald This flock. No. 38. is one of the earliest Southdown flocks established in the Dominion. The flock was founded in 1902 by purchases of ewes from the flocks of the late S. R. Lancaster (Flock No. 7) and the late Jas. Johns (Flock No. 17). The shearling ewes, rams and lambs are by Oakleigh 245/34 ] (1025) and Nuronui 9/35 (10969). This flock has been bred and reared; on high country, arc of good colour and show great constitution, and have been passed by the Southdown Society Inspector.
