CABINET CHANGES
; ANNOUNCED BY PREMIER MR SEMPLE TAKING OVER RAILWAYS. MR ARMSTRONG MINISTER OF PUBLIC WORKS. — >B\ Telegraph—Press Association, t WELLINGTON. This Day. A number of Cabinet changes wore announced by the Prime Minister (Mr i Fraser) today. Among the most imI portant is that Mr Semple is to take over Railways from Mr’Sullivan and that Mr Armstrong is to be the new Minister of Public Works. Mr Nor’dmeyer will mkt: the Health portfolio from Mr Armstrong and Mr Barclay is given Agriculture and will relieve Mr Nash of Marketing. Mr Semple is also to be Minister of Marine and Mr Wilson will take charge of Broadcasting which has been relinquished by Mr Fraser. Mr Sullivan will take over Scientific and Industrial research and Mr Mason wih be Minister in Charge of Prisons. Mr Nordmeyor is taking central of Mental Hospitals. Friendly Societies, and the National Provident Fund. The two new Ministers and Mr Paiken, who is to be a member of the Executive Council representing the Native race, were sworn in by die Governor.
