Tt is estimated that the Federal Government's child endowment scheme will cost between nine and ten million pounds a year. New South Wales taxpayers will benefit from the scheme. a> it is proposed to reduce State taxation by £1.470.000 —the amount spent on child endowment last year when the Federal scheme comes into operation.
