One business man has chalked on his shutter. after having had his windows blown in: ‘We have no panes, dear mother, now’ and another: ’We are open more than usu«l.‘ A music shop wrote up: ’We can face the music.’ A fine spirit that, real British," observed the writer in conclusion.
