WOMEN’S INSTITUTE CCMPETIT!ON WINNER S. ("Times-Age" Special.) At the- monthly meeting of the Kopuaranga Women’s Institute Mr Jarrett presided over a small attendance. Preparations were made for a plain and fancy dress dance. The aggregate prizes wen throughout the year for cooking best bloom and sewing will be presented. The roll cal! for the meeting was a joke. The competitions, which were judged by Mrs Kjestrup. resulted as follows: Child's frock. Mrs Wright 1. Mr.Jarrett 2. Christmas cake. Mrs Wright 1. Mrs Jarrett 2, Mrs Clarke 3. Best bloom. Mrs Wright 1. Mrs Reside 2, Miss Wright 3. Mrs Wright had on display a quill she had made from peggy squares supplied by members. The hostesses were Mesdames S. J. Clarke and W. Reside. The meeting closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
