J The financial membership at the end ■ of December was reported to be 72. ; It was decided to notify hcadquar- ; tors that this branch had no objection ; to the end of the financial year being i altered to December 31. instead of March 31 as formerly. Mr Fordyce reported that the Home i Guard was growing in strength and i that so far 118 men had enrolled. Fur- ’ ther meetings were to be held in i Rongokokako. Hukanui. and Nireaha. ; A meeting had been held at Tiraumea i when 23 men had signified their mi tention of joining. A! a meeting at Al- ’ fredton 35 joined. Thirty-five members j had signed up in the Eketahuna Bori ouch including three ladies. l
