NORWEGIAN REGIMENT
FORMATION IN GERMANY. MEANS OF GETTING RID OF QUISLING. I <By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright' LONDON. January 13. A report from Helsinki states that j Quisling is organising a regiment of Norwegians for Germany to fight against Britain. He made an impassioned appeal to the Norwegians to enrol for the common fight of Germany and Norway against the arch-enemy. He declared that Nazi victory is imminent and Britain's world influence is I doomed to extinction for ever. ' Many members of the Fascist Hird ' organisation are expected to enrol. The Stockholm correspondent of "The Times" says that Quisling may command the regiment, and it is suggested that this may be a convenient pretext to get him and his most hated Hirdmen out of the country without | loss of prestige. They are so detested j that their presence hampers the pacifiI cation of Norway.
