ITALIAN’S DESERT IN TEPELENE AREA. : An R.A.F. raid on Berat. in Al- ' bania, was carried out in bad wea- , ther to assist the Greeks advancing beyond Klisura, the 8.8. C. reports. I All the bombs fell in the target area and the whole of the planes Engaged returned safely. i There is little news of the land lighting. but reports from Athens state that the Greeks are pressing the enemy on all fronts. The troops are lighting in a deluge of rain, the positions being so close in some instances that enemy bombers dare not intervene. During a lull in the battle for Tepelene, the Greeks were astonished to see a number of Italians tobogganing down a mountain side towards them. At first the Greeks thought the enemy was counter-attacking, bqj the Italians turned out to be deserters who said they had had enough of the war. They stated also that in that position two thousand Italians had been killed or injured.
