NEW ZEALAND EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. OPERATIONS IN WESTERN DESERT. The following official casualty list from the Western Desert was issued yesterday:—
Gunner Herbert Arrowsmith Hamb lin, previously reported missing, be Sieved drowned. Death now confirmee by unit. Father- Mr C A. Hamblin, 3.' Hobart Street, Miramar. Wellington. Private Hugh Thomas Philip Ware ■ng, slightly wounded in Egypt, remained with unit. Mother: Mrs. M. T Wareing. Turners Road. Ouruhia. Can.erbury. Act. Sergeant John Jemas Henderson killeel in Eqypt, a- result of road accident. Wife: Mrs. E. Henderson. 1(1 Kyarra Road. Glen Iris. Melbourne Australia. PLANE CRASHES. WELLINGTON AIRMAN KILLED Cabled advice has been received by Mr H. H A. Renai, Khandallah. of the death of his son. Sergeant Observer I’aul Victor Remu. R A F who was killed ir.sumtly together with the rest ~-f the crew, when hi- plane crashed last week.
