ICE CREAM
HOW TO MAKE IT SUCCESSFULLY
i Among the treats of summer is ice ; cream, which is a welcome addition to I the menu in all homes. Care, how--1 ever, must be taken when making this ■ delicacy and the following are a few I ints for its preparation when made i with a refrigerator. I 1. Follow the recipes accurately. ■ 2. Whip the cream to the correct i consistency, that is, until it is light and I fluffy. Reconstituted cream can be I used if it is made the previous day. ! 3. Do not put the mixtures into the I drawers until they are cold. j 4. Set the cold control at the correct , position. Directions are provided with | most cabinets.
5. Stir, whisk or beat the mixture while it is in the drawers. 6. When sufficiently frozen, readjust the cold control, or if more freezing is required, transfer the contents of the drawer to a basin, and put it lower down in the refrigerator, where it will remain frozen but will not become over-frozen and 100 hard.
