PAYMENT OF INTERIM DIVIDEND
The general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand ’ Limited announces payment on January 14 of an interim dividend of li per cent less United Kingdom income tax at the rate of 8s (>d in the .£ in respect of the year ending March The above dividend will be payable in New Zealand at any branch of the National Bank of New Zealand Limited at the rate of exchange for demand drafts on London current on January 14. 1941.
This Bank shows its capital and reserves as under: —Subscribed capital, j £(>.000.000: paid-up capital. £2.000,000; I reserve fund .invested in Government I securities?. £1.000,000: currency rel serve (invested in Government securities), £500.000; reserve liability of i shareholders. £6.000.000. In addition i there are undivided profits carried for- ; ward of £115.363.
