An Italian communique states: "Two . Italian torpedo-boats in the Sieiliar !> Channel attacked an enemy naval ! formation and torpedoed a cruiser. ! which was afterwards seen to be sinkI ing. A violent engagement followed ; with enemy destroyers and cruisers. ! Fires were seen aboard two destroyers. : Ono Italian torpedo-boat was sunk. ' "Units of the German Air Force at- ; tacked two important groups of enemy • ships in the Central Meditorranc-.'in ! and hit a cruiser. OPERATIONS IN LIBYA. "There is artillery and patrol activity in Libya, where the enemy repeatedly attacked some <>f our bases from the air." BRITISH RAIDS ON ITALY. "British planes last night dropped incendiary and explosive bombs >»'. Turin. Houses were hit. Three persons were killed and four wounded. Savigliano. where a military hospital, houses and a church were hit. was also bombed. "In Albania cur counter-attacks inflicted appreciable losses on the enemy."
