WEDDING
ADAMSON—PETERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The marriage was solemnised at Si. David's Presbyterian Church. Auckland on December 26 of Gladys, daughter of Mrs E. Peters. Carterton, and Frank Peachey, eldest son of Mrs A. Adamson. Mangcnui, North Auckland. The service was performed by the Rev. W. Bower Black. The bride, who was escorted by Mr J. G. Hill, wore a gown of ivory georgette and lace made in classical lines with medici collar. Her full tulle veil was held to the head with a spray of gardinias and she carried a shower bouquet of Christmas lilies and carnations.
Miss Elizabeth Peters, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She wore a frock of delphinium blue moire taffeta and carried a sheaf of delphiniums and gladioli. The little flower girl. Margaret Canning. cousin of the bride, was attired
in a dainty sprigged georgette frock and carried a posy toning with her frock. Lieutenant Fred Hill was best man. A reception was held at the Mt. Eden tea kiosk, whore Mrs Peters received her guests wearing a frock of deep burgundy with black hat and accessories. She carried a bouquet of autumn tinted flowers. Mrs Adamson was dressed in a navy ensemble with toucb.es of white, and carried a bouquet of carnations and sweet peas.
The usual toasts were honoured and later Mr'and Mrs Adamson left for the South Island. The bride travelled in a dusky pink malt crepe frock with navy accessories. Their future home will be in Auckland.
