GRASS FIRE OUTBREAK NEAR RAILWAY LINE. The firemen were quickly on the scene and subdued the outbreak which had got into dry grass in a paddock behind the property of the Misses Watterson. Had there been any wind the fire may have proved more serious. It is thought that a cigarette butt thrown from the window of a carriage may have been the cause of the fire.
