THEFT REPORTED

FROM MASTERTON WOMEN'S BATHS. FAIR SUM GF MONEY INVOLVED. The theft of a fair sum of money from the Masterion Women’s Baths was reported yesterday afternoon. It appears that the custodian left the money in a bag which in the ordinary course is placed under lock and key. On this occasion, however, this was not done and the bag, with its contents, which included bath takings and private money, was found to be missing late in the afternoon.
