Free Frenchmen of the Pa- j cific rejoice that they will shortly be ; able to rejoin the heroic soldiers of I New Zealand on the African battle-' fields.” To this the Prime Minister has sent the foHowing reply:— "I warmly reciprocate the semi- j ments contained in your telegram ot December 31. I have no doubt what-i ever of the ultimate success of the - forces of right over those of wrong; and i look forward to the day when j the gallant representatives of Free* France in the Pacific will fight alongside our men. I extend to you and your people all good wishes for a prosperous and successful year."
