GREYTOWN
MINISTER INJURED MOTOR AND BICYCLE COLLIDE. ("Times-Age" Special.) The Rev. H. Bloomfield met with a painful accident at the Post Office corner yesterday afternoon. Whilst riding his bicycle he collided with a motor car driven by Mrs G. Beecroft, of Mastertcn. Mr Bloomfield received cuts on the head and was badly shaken. Dr. Oakcy was summoned and after attending’ to Mr Bloomfield ordered his removal to the hospital. The hospital authorities reported this morning that Mr Bloomfield had had a fair night. Personal Items. Constable A. Gregor and Mrs Gregor, accompanied by Misses B. and E. Gregor, left for New Plymouth this morning where they will spend a holiday. Constable Hill, of Masterton. is in charge of the Greytown Police Station during the absence of Constable A. Gregor. Mr and Mrs C. Grigg, who have been the guests of Mr and Mrs Burden. Wood Street, have returned to Wellington.
Mrs G. Robinson left today to spend a holiday at Day’s Bay.
