GREAT LINER’S VOYAGE
QUEEN ELIZABETH REACHES CAPE TOWN. BOUND FOR UNDISCLOSED DESTINATION. The world's biggest liner, the Queen Elizabeth, has reached Cape Town from New York, by way of Trinidad, on her way to an unknown destination, the 8.8. C. states. She made the passage to Cape Town in 14 days. As on her previous voyage from the Clyde to New York, the fact of her departure was widely known, but the secret of her destination was well kept.
A British Official Wireless mesriage ‘ states that the captain of the liner said i the -hip never travelled at anywhere i near top speed. No enemy craft of any kind were sighted. The ship behaved jrerfectly.
