Ail official Bulgarian source stated that over 250.000 German soldiers are already in Rumania, and that there is an equal number in Hungary. It was added that Bulgaria would be forced to consent if Germany demanded free passage for troops across Bulgaria. Other reliable sources put the number of Germans in Rumania as high as half a million. ARCTIC WEATHER DISLOCATION OF SERVICES IN HUNGARY. GERMAN WOMEN ORDERED TO LEAVE TURKEY. LONDON. January 2. Arctic weather is causing one of the worst freezes in history over the greater part of Hungary, states a Budapest message. Services have been dislocated. From Bucharest it is reported that the Rumanian State railways are sending about 100 locomotives to Germany for general repairs. All German nurses and governesses, totalling several hundred, have been ordered to leave Turkey within 15 days, states an Istanbul message.
