WEDDING
O’BRIEN—MCLACHLAN.
A quiet wedding took place at Sumner on December 21. when Flora Jean, only daughter of Mr and Mrs N. H. McLachlan, of "Pinegrove." Rangitumau, was married to Percival Patrick, second son of Mrs O'Brien. Oriental Bay, Wellington, and the late Mr O'Brien. The Rev. Rutland Martin officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a teal blue ensemble with navy accessories.
A reception was afterwards held at the residence of Mr and Mrs A. R. Larcomb.
Following a motor tour of the South the bridegroom will return to Wigram to complete his training for overseas service with the R.N.Z.A.F.
