BOWLING CLUB COMPETITION RESULTS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following are the results of matches played during the holidays by members of the Featherston Bowling Club:— Champion pairs: W. Robinson and H. McNamara beat W. Rowles and A. B. Fuge; J. Anderson and J. Higgison beat J. Hutana and H. Rolls. A progressive pairs tournament was played on Boxing Day. The skips section was won by G. O’Neale and leads by W. Robinson. The second places were filled by J. Moriarty (skip) and J. W. Card (lead). Champion singles: W. Higgison beat L. James; B. Fuge beat G. O’Neale. A rink representing the Featherston Club will take part in the New Zealand championship tournament in Christchurch. Personal Items. Mr D. Rowe, Palmerston North, is visiting his mother, Mrs E. Rowe, Underhill Road. Mr P. Holland, of Timaru, is the guest of Mr and Mrs J. W. Holland. Clifford Square.
