The death occurred at Mr William Chamberlain, of ville, in his 89th year.
Miss N. Caldwell. Woffington, is staving with her mother. Mis J. A. Caldwell Hessey Street. Masterton. Because of a slight indisposition. Mr Noel Coward will arrive m New Zealand a fortnight later than lie was originally expected.
Mr Crawford Madill, M.A.. of Christchurch. licentiate of the Presbyterian Church, has received and accepted a call to Martinborough. The Rev Dr J. D. Salmond, youth director of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, is at present in Hamilton as a speaker at the Presbyterian summer school. Pilot Officer A. M. Scott, son of Mr and Mrs A. B. Scott, Gisborne, has received notice of his appointment to a post in the Air Ministry, London. He is at present, on leave with his parents. Pilot Ofl’icer Scott has been in the Defence Department for the past two years.
