“I LOVE YOU AGAIN.”

Myrna Loy and William Powell are seen together in an excellent picture “I love You Again,” which will be presented at the Regent Theatre tonight. The film is the story of Mr and Mrs Larry Wilson. Mr Wilson is the leading citizen of a small American town, Habersville. He is the leader of the boy scouts, a member of the Rotary Club, the Owls, and many other such organisations, and is, of course, a strict teetotaller. The film opens on board a huge luxury liner in which Larry is returning from a trip to Europe. During the trip, through no fault of his own, Larry rescues “Doc Ryan”

(Frank McHugh) from a watery death and gets struck on the head for his pains. When he recovers consciousness he discovers that for nine years he has been suffering from amnesia, that he is not Larry Wilson but George Carey, and that his past is not one that bears looking into. When he looks through his pockets he finds various documents which make him realise that Larry Wilson is a rich man, so a visit to Haberville is indicated. “Doc” goes along as his partner, and it looks as if all is going to be well, when Larry/ George discovers he has a wife. And that wife is, of course, Myrna Loy. Kay has come to meet the boat, determined to give Larry a divorce, but he comes on shore his different nature is so obvious that she is diverted from her purpose. “I Love You Again” is a light-hearted piece, done in the well-known, slickly-acted manner of the Powell-Loy combine. The latest Cinesound Gazette and a brilliant Crime Doesn’t Pay number, “Women in Hiding.” completes the programme. “NIGHT TRAIN TO MUNICH.” Tomorrow the Regent Theatre presents a brilliant offering in this delightful English comedy drama, featuring Margaret Lockwood, Rex Harrison, Ronald Culver and a great English cast. The thrills are there aplenty, but so is dazzling English comedy at its superb best. There will be a special late shoppers session at 10.5. p.m.
