LOSS OF SUBMARINE ADMITTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, December 28. A communique issued in Rome states: — “There is artillery activity on the Bardia front. One of our lightning collumns in conjunction with the air force destroyed an enemy mechanised detachment and captured the crews. “On the Greek front enemy attacks were repulsed and some prisoners taken. Bombers and fighters continued to attack troops, installations and road junctions and bombed the enemy naval base at Prevcsa, scoring a direct hit on a ship.

“One of our submarines operating in the Atlantic has not returned.”
