ON PART OF GREEK SUBMARINE THREE LARGE SUPPLY SHIPS SUNK. ON WAY FROM BRINDISI TO VALONA. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) ATHENS, December 28. A Greek submarine sank three Italian steamers in the Adriatic. A 8.8. C. broadcast states that the three ships sunk by the Greek submarine formed part of a convoy of fourteen Italian ships conveying men and material from Brindisi to Valona. Destroyers escorting the convoy attacked the submarine with depth charges, but it got away safely. The total tonnage of the three ships sunk is given as between 25,000 and 30,000 tons.

DRIVEN OUT OF SOUTHERN ADRIATIC. LONDON, December 28. The main body of the Italian, fleet has been driven out of the southern Adriatic and has sheltered at Fiume and Pola in order to escape 'the attacks of British bombers, according to Greek nftval officials.
Only one Italian cruiser and several destroyers remained to cover the Italian rearguard action before the fall of Himara.
