NEW YEAR’S DAY
MASTERTON POST OFFICE HOURS. The Masterton Post Offce will be closed in all branches on New Year s Day (Wednesday); no mails will be despatched and postmen's deliveries will be suspended. There will be no delivery by postman also on January 2. Mataikona private bags and Te Wharau bags and rural deliveries will be delivered on Tuesday, December 31, in lieu of January 1. The Homewood private bag service will be suspended and the Tinui private bags and rural delivery will be despatched as usual. The Telegraph Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. The Telephone Exchange will be open continuously.
