Greathead has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mr K. Fauvel, Wellington, is visiting his parents, Mr and Mrs P. Fauvel, Alfredton Road. Mr S. Worthington, Carterton, is the guest of Mr F. Preston, Parkville. Misses W. Dickson, E. O'Donnell, and E. Robinson left yesterday on a holiday which is to be spent in Queen Charlotte Sounds. Mr and Mrs Burch and family are visiting Gisborne. Mr B. Bradley is spending a holiday with his parents at Opunake. Mrs A. S. Carter, who was an inmate of the Masterton Hospital, is at present at Otaki. Miss P. O’Regan is an Eketahuna visitor to Opunake. Mr and Mrs J. Gaskin and family are touring the North Island. Mrs W. Andrews is visiting her son at Kaitoke. Nurse Palmer, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs J. Monaghan, Newman. Haymaking. Haymaking has commenced in the Eketahuna district and good crops are being gathered.
