WAIOTIRA REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN TORPEDOED. ACCORDING TO MACKAY RADIO. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) NEW YORK, December 26. The Mackay radio states that the Shaw, Savill freighter Waiotira (12,823 tons) reported that she had been torpedoed in the Atlantic at .> degrees 12 minutes north. 17 degrees 25 minutes west. I One of the latest-built motor-ships of her line, the Waiotira has in the past traded with New Zealand ports.!
